How do I create a custom outcome profile?

As part of the review process on Immerse works, users will be asked to review themselves against certain outcomes. As the admin of the system, you can add new outcomes and edit existing outcomes. This article will guide you when creating custom outcome profiles.


Creating Custom Outcome Profiles

To create a custom outcome profile, first head to the admin area of Immerse Works (the little cog in the top right of the page, or in the menu on the left). Next click on Custom Outcome Profiles/Custom Outcomesunder the Reviews heading. This will bring you to the outcome profiles page, where you can find all the current outcome profiles that have been set up in the system. 



Outcomes are now assigned to Profiles. You can create more outcomes by creating new profiles and then assigning outcome to them.


To create a new outcome profile, click on Actions in the top right-hand corner of the page. Then from the dropdown, click on Add New. Fill in the profile's title and click on Create Outcome Profile


The title will be used to identify the outcome profile, if you choose to have more than one. For example, you can create two outcome profiles, one for behavioural competencies and one for technical competencies. You can also have a different outcome profile for a specific job role.


Once you have created the outcome profile, you will be directed to the competency and values outcomes page. Here, you can setup the outcomes for the profile. 


Fill in the title, value and colour for each outcome and click on the Save button. 

You can have no more than 5 outcomes for each profile. 

Once you are happy with your outcomes, you can return to the previous page and set this as the default profile or assign it to a competency for a job specification. To set it as a default profile, click on the Actions button opposite the profile and select Make Default

Editing Custom Outcome Profiles

To make changes to an outcome profile, simply click on the Actions button opposite the profile and select View/Edit Outcomes. Edit as required and don't forget to Save your changes.
