How do I add a new business unit?

When setting up Immerse Works one of the first things you will need to add are business units, these can range from a department all the way down to a team, but are essential to some of the functions on the app.


A guide to setting up business units on Immerse Works:

  • Sign in to your Immerse works system as an Administrator
  • Click on the Admin cog on the right of the header then head to General and then Departments, Divisions and Teams
  • To create a new Business unit, click the Action button in the top right corner then click Add A Business Unit
  • Input the relevant information.
  • Click on Submit


A more in-depth breakdown of creating a Business Unit

  • When creating a business unit you will first need to head to the admin cog and click on Departments, Divisions and Teams which you can find located under the general heading.



  • To create a new Business unit, click the Action button in the top right corner then click Add A Business Unit.



  • Input the relevant information.
    • Input the business unit name
    • Select the correct type
    • Select a parent business unit
    • Select a head of the business unit
    • Select Administrators for the unit.



  • Click on Submit


That's it, you've created a new business unit!
